One stage, two state finals: 29 teams pitch at the Start-up BW Night on July 13th in Mannheim - and all within 3 minutes: a race against time, an exciting decision between the most innovative ideas, another heart project of our agency in the context of foundations, self-employment and start-ups: On July 13th is Start-up BW Night in Mannheim's Jungbusch - and all interested parties are welcome to this free event.
For the second time, the Start-up BW Night offers the stage for two exciting state finals: Under the motto "Public meets Start-up culture", the free event will take place in Mannheim for the first time on July 13th. In Jungbusch, between the C-Hub and Musikpark, the focus is on the dynamic world of founders, start-ups and young companies.
17 teams are in the state final of the start-up BW Elevator Pitches and 12 student teams in the state final of the start-up BW Young Talents. On the Pitching Stage Port24/C-Hub, starting at 14:00 p.m., students will first present their start-up ideas and then, from 16:30 p.m., the winners of the regional and special cups of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitches will present their innovative business ideas exciting competition against each other before the jury. Three minutes of presentation – another three minutes for questions: these are the pitch limits for the day.
Innovative apps and digital solutions, medical products and sustainable alternatives - the range of ideas and innovations of the Baden-Württemberg start-ups is diverse, but they all have one thing in common: a jury rating in the top 5 - and thus the chance to win a second round 20:15 p.m. on the MAIN STAGE Musikpark to get one of the first three places. The award ceremony will take place with Economics Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut.
In addition to the pitches, all visitors have access to the start-up market, information zone, a chill-out area, food and live music as well as many opportunities for an after-show party after 22 p.m. in the Jungbusch in Mannheim.
