With nuwo we are the home office task force for companies. We select the furniture according to the individual wishes and requirements of the company and develop a curated, company-owned online shop. The entire ordering and approval process then runs automatically via our platform. Our Germany-wide network of specialist dealers takes care of the assembly, service and maintenance of the workplaces in our own four walls and instructs the employees so that they sit correctly on the chairs and at the tables. We also ensure that the guidelines for both mobile work and telework are observed, can carry out the risk assessment digitally and clarify tax law issues.

The product/service
The motivation
To make employees healthy and happy at home with high-quality, ergonomic equipment. With this claim I started with nuwo at the beginning of 2020 and we remain true to this. Of course, home has to be cozy and customizable, but good design and ergonomics are not mutually exclusive - as our range proves.
The idea
With nuwo we offer companies a simple solution for equipping employees in the home or mobile office. We see ourselves as pioneers of a hybrid world that combines the best of both worlds: working together in an agile, communicative office and working independently from home - at a professionally equipped home office.
The challenge
The issue of equipment for employees at home is not easy and poses numerous challenges for employers. “Who bears the cost of equipment? As a company, how do I not become the owner of the office furniture? How can I equip my employees individually and safely in their homes? How do I protect myself legally and, above all, how does it look like in terms of tax law?" With nuwo we have developed a solution that is currently unique in its holistic approach, because we have the answers to open questions and take care of all matters.
The current status
We are proud to be able to count numerous companies - from startups to hidden champions to the Dax group - among our customers. Since day one, it has been particularly important to us to grow together with the requirements, needs and wishes of our customers. Based on their direct feedback, we are constantly developing our platform.
Personal advice to founders
Grounding is setting sail with a compass that you can't be sure is actually pointing north. So it's no wonder that you only arrive at your previously defined destination via detours. As a founder, you have to circumnavigate numerous cliffs on your way, your "boat" will often run aground and maybe even capsize once. If you want to be successful, you have to keep going. Listen to the wind, confidently throw the old overboard and realign the sails. If you keep your course when you are stuck, you will probably never reach your destination. This is challenging, but allows you to grow personally and is incredibly fun - if you have a vision that you believe in and that is worth it for ;-)
