“With Start-up BW Women, we are focusing specifically on female founders, entrepreneurs, female start-ups and business successors. “It is an important milestone to bring the topic of female financing/female investing into focus today,” said the Baden-Württemberg Minister for Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, at the opening of the first “Female Founders FINANCING Forum” on March 20th at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart. “We want to develop financing perspectives for the future with and for female founders.”

The event is a new format of the state Start-up BW campaign. The aim is to create a platform for the investment and banking world, for female founders and their innovations, and for start-up ecosystems.

The Female Founders Financing Forum shows the diversity of different ideas, approaches and offers for female financing/female investing, initiates the know-how transfer of those working in the field and develops new perspectives for the future through dialogue: around 200 interested parties have responded to the call: Invest in the future now' and took part in the first Female Founders FINANCING Forum.

The exciting program was well-known and ranged from insights to the practical start-up talk to three parallel invest & connect idea sessions: the #MindBlowing Barcamp, the #MindSet good practice examples from the start-up ecosystems and the #MindShift session Perspective of the financiers and investors. At the subsequent get-together, all participants made active use of the opportunity to exchange ideas and network.
